HOW TO MEASURE
• Use a metal measuring tape for all of your measurements.
• Take all measurements up to 1/8".
• Measure twice to avoid errors.
INSIDE MOUNT
LENGTH: Measure from left to right in 3 positions (top, middle, bottom). Take the smallest measurement.
HEIGHT: Measure from top to bottom in 3 positions (left, center, right). Take the largest measurement.
Don't make any deductions from the measurements. The manufacturer will make the necessary deductions for an ideal fit.
Important notice
For roller shades, sheer shades, zebra blinds and horizontal blinds the material will be slightly shorter in length on either side than the measurement given because of the mechanism.
OUTSIDE MOUNT
LENGTH: Give the measurements of the space you wish to cover from left to right.
HEIGHT: Give the measurements of the space you wish to cover from top to bottom.
The length measurement must always include the cassette, valence, headrail or roller.
Important notice
The length of the cassette, valence, headrail or roller will be included in the measurement given and the material will be shortened about 5/8th of an inch on either side. As an example, if the space to be covered is 60" in length, it's recommended to order 64" (or 2" extra on each side) to cover the entire window frame and prevent any light gaps.
